Return and Refund Policy

At The Hat Lab, every hat is made just for you, so we want you to love your custom creation. Here’s everything you need to know about ordering, returns, and refunds:

Custom Orders

  • All hats are made to order and fully customized by you.
     
  • Full payment is required before production begins.
     
  • Because your hat is personalized, all sales are final once your hat is made.
     

Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds on custom hats once production is complete unless otherwise discussed.
     
  • If your order arrives damaged, wrong size, or incorrect in any way, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can make it right!
     

Bulk Orders

  • Orders of 5 or more hats qualify for discounted bulk pricing (online custom orders only).
     
  • Full payment is due before production begins.
     

Online Orders

  • Orders can be placed through Instagram, Facebook, or Email.
     
  • Once order details are confirmed, an invoice will be sent. Payment must be received before production starts.
     

Shipping

  • We ship anywhere in the U.S.!
     
  • Shipping times vary by location and order volume, but we’ll keep you updated with tracking info once your order ships.
     

Returns

  • Because every hat is custom-made just for you, we do not accept returns.
     
  • However, if your hat arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work with you to fix the issue or offer a replacement.
     

Event Bookings

  • The Hat Lab is available for pop-ups at weddings, corporate events, parties, and more.
     
  • We recommend booking 3–4 weeks in advance to secure your date!
     

Booking Fee

  • A non-refundable $50/hr booking fee is required at least one week before the event to secure your date. This covers travel, set-up, and confirms your booking.
     

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
     
  • If you cancel within 72 hours of the event, the booking fee is non-refundable but can be used as credit for a booking within the next three months. After that, a new fee will be required.
     

Communication

  • We aim to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.
